This Mercedes-Benz OEM Sportline set includes the Sportline gear-shifter knob, Sportline steering wheel, and Sportline badges, all of which were used in the W124 and W201 Sportline models.

During the 1990s, Mercedes-Benz introduced their Sportline package for the W124 and W201 range. This option was available in North America for the 1992/1993 W124 300E and 300CE, and from 1993 to 1995, it was available for the E320 and E320 Coupe. From 1992 to 1993, the package was available for the W201 2.6 model. In the EU market, the SportLine package was available for all W124 body styles, and several engine options were available for the W201.

The Sportline package included style modifications but was mostly focused on the driving experience. It featured a range of mechanical upgrades. Special badges bearing the "Sportline" designation adorned the fender panel. At the heart of this performance-oriented package sat a small yet iconic detail, the gear-shifter knob. Crafted with precision and elegance, it proudly displayed the emblem of sport luxury. Complementing this was the Sportline steering wheel, designed for enhanced grip and control, and the Sportline badges that marked the vehicle's sporty pedigree.
