A genuine OEM example of a Mercedes-Benz W124 300E turbodiesel fender. These fenders only came on the turbodiesel model of the w124, and only on the right side. The elegant five lines from the air inlet nicely follow the shape of the wheel arch. It’s a perfect replacement part or a great addition for any W124 turbo build. 50 years after Carl Benz invented the petrol powered automobile Mercedes-Benz introduced the world’s very first series produced diesel passenger car. The 260D W138 was introduced to the public at the international motorcycle and automobile exhibition in Berlin in February of 1936. It’s OM138 2.6L 4 cylinder engine delivered 45 horsepower at 3200rpm. It was the beginning of an impressive range of diesel engines by Mercedes-Benz.
