Developed in cooperation with AMG and manufactured by Eberspächer, it represents a genuine piece of period-correct tuning history, made to deliver both performance and presence.

Unlike the standard exhaust fitted to the C126, this AMG unit features a higher-flow internal design with reduced restriction to improve exhaust gas velocity and decrease backpressure. The result is a sharper throttle response, increased torque delivery in the mid-range, and the unmistakable deep AMG tone that became a signature of the era.

During this period, AMG operated as an independent engineering house, crafting bespoke high-performance components for a very limited number of clients. Exhaust systems like this were hand-assembled in small numbers and fitted to customer cars either at AMG Affalterbach or through specialist AMG distributors around Europe, Japan, and the Middle East. Authentic examples like this are becoming increasingly rare, especially in complete condition.
