A genuine 2.5-16 engine head cover in excellent condition, specifically designed for the M102 engine. This head cover serves as a protective casing for the renowned 2.5-16 engine head. The 2.5-16 engine head was an impressive iteration of the 2.3-16 engine head that was the result of a remarkable collaboration between the precision and craftsmanship of Mercedes-Benz engineers and the brilliant minds at Cosworth, the British experts in high-performance engines. While the 2.5-16 engine head was developed in-house by Mercedes-Benz without direct involvement from Cosworth, it is based on the same principles that made their collaboration successful. Additionally, we also have 2.3-16 engine covers available in our stock.

The W201 2.5-16 hit the streets in July of 1988 as a replacement of 2.3-16. There where a total of 5743 units produced by the time the production run ended in June 1993.
